Heartsaver® Basic – Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED — Hybrid
This is a self-directed course path which provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR, and how to use an AED. Ideal for students who want the flexibility to complete the cognitive portion of the course at their own pace and location. The Heartsaver Basic course path is for those requiring training to meet employer job requirements or want to learn lifesaving skills. Heartsaver Basic – Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is NOT designed to meet OSHA or regulatory requirements.
The Hybrid option is a two part course and includes online learning and in person skills assessment.
Note: this course can also be taken without the First Aid option.
First, complete the online portion of the course.
Once you register, you'll receive a course activation code, and the class handbook will be included with the online portion. After finishing the online portion, you'll be prompted to schedule the in-person skills assessment with an American Heart Association instructor.

Next, upon completion of the online portion, call (925-838-3188) or email (info@theartofcpr.com) us to schedule your in person assessment.
Each third Sunday of the month, we have in-person assessment from 9am - 12pm at The Art of CPR at: 199 E. Linda Mesa Ste. 9, Danville, CA. Schedule your skills assessment in advance. Plan on 1-hour for the skills portion.
You may also call us to schedule your assessment on a different day.
The Skill Only option is $125 and includes:
